Gauntt Farm Antics Rabbit Rescue, Inc.

Gauntt Farm Antics Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is a registered 501(c)3 non profit rescue specializing in domestic rabbits.

We are located just East of Atlanta, Ga and rescue domestic rabbits that are sick, injured, dumped or who need to be owner surrendered.
Each rabbit is provided with veterinary care; is spayed/neutered, vaccinated and adopted out to loving furever homes.
Our goal is to continue raising awareness of how specialized and amazingly animated domestic rabbits really are. From their housing to vet care to food – these bunnies require lots of care and essentially lots financial support. Veterinary care for a rabbit is far from cheap and emergency bills can add up quickly. By educating the public we hope to end the vicious cycle of “spur of the moment” purchases and dumping of domestic rabbits.

Our rescue runs strictly off donations and any monies donated go directly towards veterinary care, housing, food and general support of the injured and forsaken bunnies.

Upon intake 99% require desexing and over half have in the past, and will most likely require extensive medical care for injuries or other medical conditions; such as GI stasis, severe respiratory infections and extensive hock injuries and infections.

Found a bunny?

If you have found an injured or abandoned domestic rabbit or are in need of owner surrendering your beloved pet, contact us via our Facebook page or text message @ (478) 973-4717.

Please do not release your domestic bunny into the wild – they will NOT survive.
Domesticated rabbits rely on us to keep them safe and fed – they are not equipped to find food on their own, nor have the ability to hide from predators as their wild cottontail counterparts.
If you release a domestic rabbit into the wild you are sending them to their death – they will either be taken by a predator or slowly starve to death.
Weather will also take a toll and depending on the time of year – a domestic will either die of hypothermia or heat stroke if left outside on their own.

Owner surrender

We ask you to bring all of their belongins with them – housing, food, supplies, blankets, toys etc. This will help us continue with our rescue efforts as well as make the transition much easier for your family member.

A surrender fee is required as this will help us cover vet, surgery, vaccination and housing costs.

Please fill out a surrender application Here!
